Cortona is home to Bramasole, the house made famous by the book, and later the film, Under the Tuscan Sun. Casa Idilio is just steps from the most important square in the historical centre.

Although the rental property was recently renovated and updated with all new appliances, it maintains its original 15th century feel.
It sleeps 3 to 4 people with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath.
There is one queen size and one full size bed.
The property also includes a sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen.
In the summer months, one can enjoy dining outside on the large terrace.
Other amenities include a washing machine, television and a mountain bike.
If you are not familiar with the area, Cortona is in the southern part of Tuscany near the border with Umbria.
It is one of the Etruscan hilltop towns that spot the region.
At the foot of the hill is the town of Camucia-Terontola
that is serviced by the rail line. Florence is an hour and 10-minute train ride north while Rome is 1 hour 40 south.
Arezzo is another noteworthy town close by (20 minutes).

The land in Tuscany is very fertile and thus largely agrarian providing for some spectacular landscapes to be seen.
Some of the most well-known wines in the world come
from the nearby Chianti region. One can follow the "strada del vino", or wine road, and stumble upon several vineyards and associated wineries.
Casa Idilio is ready for your stay. The low season winter weekly rental rate is ?470 and can be booked on a 2-day minimum basis (prorated). The rental rate increases to ?595 for the shoulder season, 1 May until 25 June and 29 August to 15 October. The high season summer and holiday weekly rental rate is ?790.
